Verdict

Sevarano won here over hurdles and has taken well to fences, winning both starts so far with a bit in hand. But he could find the concession of 8lb to DEMACHINE beyond him as Kerry Lee’s charge is also 2-2 over the larger obstacles. He beat a subsequent winner at Uttoxeter and confirmed that form with the third at Ascot subsequently when travelling strongly throughout. Equus Dancer is another defending an unbeaten record in chases while Earth Moor beat more experienced rivals at Fontwell. Young Wolf and Paint The Dream are a bit more exposed while Dickie Diver and Rockpoint are returning to action against potentially-useful novices.
