TANARPINO has run well in defeat since making a winning reappearance at Carlisle. Conditions today are unlikely to be an issue for Jennie Candlish’s consistent sort, who can get his head back in front. Dashing Perk has never won over 3m under Rules but shouldn’t be far away again and Truckin Away has also been getting closer as he seeks a first victory over the larger obstacles. The Late Legend has been a revelation this season, winning four times. Amateur Luke Scott gave him a good ride at Sedgefield last time but he’s 10lb higher here and up against much better opposition.
