Verdict

A tricky finale with MONOLOGUE a hopeful selection. He debuts for Neil Mulholland off a decent mark after being a beaten favourite at Kempton. Nevertheless, that run still sees him a a leading player and previous efforts read well in the context of this race. The booking of Finley Marsh is a bonus and the son of Manduro is one of few here retaining scope for progression. Camakasi is respected off topweight under another stylish apprentice and should be thereabouts but Jack Of Diamonds rates the main threat under Rossa Ryan. He's not the force of old but should still give a good account off his latest mark. Reckless Wave, Roy Rocket and Maestro Mac have claims in an open contest.
