Verdict

DEEDS NOT WORDS (NAP) has been supremely well placed by the shrewd Michael Wigham to land a sprinting hat-trick, all under David Probert. He looked better than ever at Brighton last time and everything points to another competitive showing despite taking a one-step rise in grade. Swanton Blue also makes appeal but he'll need the rain to stay away as all his best form has been delivered under quicker conditions. Excellent Sunset is of interest moving into handicaps for the first time, whilst recent winners Jaganory and Showmethewayavrilo also enter calculations, with the latter the less ground dependent of the pair. The 7lb claim of Finley Marsh should also bring Indian Affair into the equation.
