Badenscoth and Raj Balaraaj look vulnerable at the head of the weights whilst the form of Dance Teacher is hard to get a handle on. She has ability but disappointed the last day and needs to bounce back. She'll go close if doing so. Canford Tor and Sir Gnet may do better now handicapping whilst Salieri has a chance if recapturing juvenile promise but FLOOD DEFENCE makes most appeal in receipt of weight all round. She put a disappointing Newmarket run behind her - she'd previously been pretty solid - when second to Jumira Prince in a competitive Nottingham handicap for the grade. She had two of today's opponents behind that day and a similar effort would see her bang in contention.
