Verdict

Richard Hannon has trained two of the three previous winners but Fantom Force was well beaten over 7f at Leicester on his handicap debut and SERAPHINITE is preferred. The latter faced a tougher task when fourth at Chester on her first start handicapping and a bold bid is expected from Jamie Osborne’s filly on that evidence. Both Red Sun and Chromium ran well here on their respective latest starts and the latter is fitted with headgear today but Don't Joke took a backward step over today’s distance at Ripon last time having placed over the minimum trip before that.
