Verdict

CRUSHED is 6lb higher than when scoring at Windsor and steps up a grade. But Georgia Cox again takes off a valuable 5lb and William Haggas’ gelding has only had six career starts so should be capable of better. Pat Cosgrave won on Bedouin at Brighton last month but he’s probably in the handicapper’s grip now. Pirate Look is in danger of becoming disappointing while Rumpole is best over a mile. Grapevine and Dubai's Secret may be the pick of the older horses as Threat Assessed has a lengthy absence to overcome and a big weight and Nonios is an all-weather specialist.
