      Verdict

      A decent handicap featuring a few who have been plying their trade in pattern race company. WILD HACKED (NAP) and Danehill Kodiac finished third and fourth in the September Stakes at Kempton earlier this month. Only a neck separated the pair but Marco Botti’s colt, who has won on Turf, is 3lb better off so should come out on top again. Dance The Dream was progressive over this trip last year and reappeared with a third in a Listed race at Goodwood in May but hasn’t raced since. Pacify’s connections will be praying for rain and he has to prove he stays this far but Blakeney Point is suited by further. Gawdawpalin has gone up in the weights again, despite a couple of recent defeats, and can be a tricky customer while Temple Church, who won on this card 12 months ago, hasn’t progressed this year.
