Verdict

Both Lamya and Boreagh Lass built on debut promise when scoring at Windsor on their second starts. The former may have the greater scope for further improvement but the nicely-bred Melodies was a real eye-catcher over this trip at Salisbury and Naqaawa is sure to improve on her first run at Goodwood. Hadith has some fancy entries and is a half-sister to a Listed winner in France but VERACIOUS may be good enough to make a winning debut. A daughter of Frankel, she’s a half-sister to top-class miler Mutakayyef and should develop into a smart performer if living up to her pedigree.
