Verdict

Bright Strike is entered in next month's leading two-year-old races and has shown enough in a couple of placed efforts at Newmarket and York to suggest he'll be winning soon. But he finished third to the Richard Hannon-trained Wentworth last time which should give the East Everleigh handler a good line on CORREGGIO's chances. The latter's latest third at Sandown is working out well with the runner-up having won since and Richard Hughes rides him ahead of stablemates Rundell and Sublimation. Shaishee looks a likely improver while Roger Charlton runs a couple of newcomers worth noting in Paternoster and Liberty Jack, a half-brother to stable companion Trader Jack. Race And Status cost 240,000gns and is also worth a second glance in the betting.
