Verdict

A cracking renewal but RELIEF RALLY was a only stride away from landing the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, form which sets the standard as the front two were comfortably clear of the third. Fourth home was Juniper Berries, who stayed on from some way back and could prove likeliest to trouble the selection if able to race a little more handily. Her stable companion, Bobsleigh, is another plausible threat as he was only beaten three lengths by the highly-rated River Tiber when a respectable sixth in the Coventry Stakes. They provide Eve Johnson Houghton with a strong double chance against the Haggas filly. Son Of Corballis is an interesting Irish challenger after landing a Listed prize last time and La Guarida is considered best of the Hannon army now down significantly in trip.
