    Verdict

DIRTY RASCAL has yet to finish out of the first two but has only one victory to his name so far. However, last week’s run behind The Great Heir in a valuable sales race at Doncaster is much the best form and, as the weights are compacted in this nursery, he should be the one to beat. Momentum can be a factor in races like this in the autumn and Majestic Mac was a ready winner at Epsom when steering a wide course. Greenback Boogie is running in his fifth handicap already but rarely lets down supporters while Wolverhampton winner Lonely Boy gave supporters of the odds-on Sky Defender a fright at Musselburgh. Deira Surprise needs more and Sufficient carries a penalty for scoring in modest company at Salisbury last week.
