Jawhar has a double penalty to carry for recent wins at Yarmouth and York while the handicapper has harshly raised Demolition 3lb for his second at Ripon. Play Street's winning run came to an abrupt end at Yarmouth last month while Highland Duke was also disappointing last time and Henry Clay was only fourth when favourite at Hamilton, though the longer trip and better ground here will help. Aldwick Bay is starting to look well handicapped but it may be worth sticking with SAMMY ALEXANDER who needs to arrive late but has the right man on board in Jamie Spencer and may still be a step ahead of the handicapper. Kenyan Cat is preferred to Epernay and Hot Spice of the others.
