      Verdict

      Charles Hills won this last year with the useful Hazel Lavery and has two of the five entries this time around. Jockey bookings suggest Desert Image, a daughter of Beat Hollow, is the stable selection ahead of Zipp while Syrenka also has her first run. Previous winners Lanansaak and PENNY ROSE set a decent standard, however, with the latter just preferred. She won over this trip at Leicester and should always prove best over 6f and 7f whereas Roger Varian's filly may just be a little better when tackling a mile and further.
