It's a bit of a concern that GRANDEUR has reserved his best so far for Goodwood but it was a Group 3 that he contested at Windsor last time and he was only beaten a length on ground that was softer than ideal. He's getting weight from all of his rivals, including fellow three-year-olds Be Perfect and Burano, and is probably the one to beat. Spring Of Fame is much the better of Godolphin's two runners but has been off the track for a while and Fury ran a lifeless race at York last time and is undoubtedly better with give in the ground. Boom Or Bust remains in good form, however, and Cai Shen went close to winning the same race at Doncaster last week that he'd taken 12 months earlier.
