      Verdict

      Subsequent Group 2 winner Bow Creek won this last year so the form may be worth following. The latter's trainer, Mark Johnston, saddles Polarisation, who got outpaced over 6f at York last time. Fieldsman has a lot more to do than when winning a Brighton maiden and it took Harlequin Striker six attempts to get off the mark but Salisbury winner SILVER QUAY ran well for fourth at Doncaster last week and, though a couple of pounds higher now, would go very close if repeating that effort. Guiding Light has suffered a couple of setbacks since winning at Chepstow but the maidens Little Palaver and Looking Good aren't out of this and have more scope than L'Etacq.
