      Verdict

      My Specialbru, Juncart and Magic Empress have had their chances and will need major improvement but Bryan Smart's newcomer Kyllach Me has a speedy pedigree and is definitely one to keep an eye on. Midlander is rarely beaten far but hasn't progressed since beaten a short-head on his debut in June so the vote goes to DOPPLER EFFECT. Ann Duffield's charge should do better when getting a stiffer test but looks to have enough pace to get off the mark in this company.
