Verdict

The presence of Pentecost will ensure that there is no hanging about here and this will no doubt be a fast and furious affair - an outcome that will suit Eventuail and William Haggas' South African import is selected over Lundy's Lane and the consistent Putra Pekan, who can never be dismissed without a second flick through the form book. However, Eventuail put in his best effort to date on these shores at York last time and he will be very hard to master if turning up here in the same frame of mind. His connections have been patient in the preparations with the five-year-old and this ease in grade for their charge should be enough to spark the desired effect. Persian Lightning and Blazing Thunder should not be underestimated but may find Eventuail too hard to peg back today.
