    Verdict

ARSAADI appeared to appreciate the reapplication of blinkers and having finished a fair third in the Royal Hunt Cup, she makes plenty of appeal this afternoon off just a 1lb higher mark. Oddysey has been cannily campaigned by Michael Dods and as she'd made a habit of winning by very small margins, the handicapper may not have had the chance to take her full measure. Forgive was found out at Pontefract last time but she's proved herself on fast ground previously and shouldn't be dismissed out of hand on a return to handicapping. Alice's Dancer won a handicap at Brighton and is stepping back up to a mile. Galician is capable if not a little inconsistent, while Giles Bravery hasn't had a runner for a very long time so he will be hoping that Subtle Knife can give a good account of herself on a belated reappearance.
