In depth

Verdict

Previous winner Fame And Concrete carries a penalty in his first start in almost a year. Nollyador would be the form pick on placed efforts at Market Rasen and Doncaster but others have more scope including Athgarvan, who has changed stables since a second at Ffos Las, and SANDALWOOD. The latter was only sixth at Sandown on debut but ran green – he’ll know more today. Nightboat To Cairo is an interesting newcomer being out of a mare who won hurdles in Ireland and placed in a bumper.
