Devil's Cut made a successful bumper debut on good ground at Downpatrick in May and will be ready for this. Dutch Schultz, twice a winner on heavy ground on the Flat, has disappointed so far over hurdles but will have his conditions. Winning bumper Hemlock looked like scoring over 2m4f here last month when taking up the lead three out but couldn't quicken when the winner went past on the run-in. Flat winner Rodney Bay produced his best run to date over timber on soft ground at Fairyhouse but the vote goes to MUSIC OF TARA. Henry De Bromhead's mare won a point-to-point in September and was going on at the finish on her Rules debut on soft ground at Leopardstown in December. The latter's stable companion Distant Chimes completed an all-weather four-timer in the UK, though that was back in 2019.
