In depth

Verdict

Bucephalus only won once on the Flat but placed four times last year at around a mile. Robelli is probably capable of better than he’s shown so far over hurdles and fellow bumper winner Super Duper Sam looked a sure-fire future winner over timber when only beaten half-a-length at Wincanton. KINCARDINE was let down badly by his jumping last time at Ascot but an earlier third behind the smart Stage Star here is the best form on offer and he should handle the drop back in distance. Stablemate Horn Cape and Forward Plan have become disappointing, however.
