Tick Toch wore a hood to post on her debut here so may have a few quirks. But she didn’t do much wrong in the race itself and gave the impression an extra furlong would suit. Siam Fox was second at Ascot on his first start, staying on in the closing stages and getting outpaced. He may do better over a mile but is still preferred to stablemate Mr Trick. John Gosden had a good chance in the first division and RIFLEMAN is a half-brother to numerous winners including Racing Post Trophy second Aloft, who went on to win Listed races. He might be the one to be on with Achelois another newcomer to note.
