CHARCOR had been performing in strong company on the Flat before running into a smart one in Dewcup on his hurdling debut at Punchestown. He can go one better though Geraldo, a winning point-to-pointer, was impressive landing a Cork bumper and could be anything. Risk Factor landed a Leopardstown bumper before runner-up in a Grade 2 back there. He started odds-on for his hurdling bow at Galway but made mistakes and was beaten when unseating at the last.
