CAPITELLI showed enough on debut when the market suggested not too much was expected and this daughter of Cape Cross can land it for the Richard Hannon yard. Of those with winning form, Feeling Fab looks the best while there are a number of newcomers who could simple be anything so a close eye is advised with regard the market for some assistance in solving this contest. A 60,000 guineas purchase who's family traces back to Sleepytime, winner of the 1997 1000 Guineas, Capitelli did not enjoy the clearest of passages in the closing stages on debut but the consensus was that it looked a good maiden as the fourth had beforehand shown lots of promise. If one were to knock the form, Purple Sage who finished fourth has since been put in her place in a Lingfield maiden, ironically by another of today's rivals, Feeling Fab. Mark Johnston's filly left her Catterick form well and truly behind with fine front running performance at Lingfield but applying the same tactics over the straight course will prove a much tougher task. Al Sabaheya won a weak Brighton maiden first time out but could not have done it any more impressively. Mejala was noted staying on from an unpromising position at Salisbury on debut while Suba finished third at Newbury in what looked only an average maiden. Phillipina, owned by Cheveley Park Stud and the Barry Hills pair should be watched in the market but Capitelli is the selection.
