Verdict

Dubious Affair would probably take the beating if the ground dried out further but Sweet Celebration also arrives in peak form having just come up short at York having won earlier at Newcastle. ALEMAGNA (NAP) won over 1m4f at Goodwood last year and was an eye-catcher on her reappearance at Sandown when given plenty to do. She promises to stay the extra if she can find cover in this small field. Chicago Doll was a good second over 1m6f at Haydock and Newmarket winner Kepala adds to the interest.
