Enemy Coast Ahead easily won a Stratford bumper in March with two subsequent hurdles winners well in arrears and could be anything. Dagueneau is another interesting recruit to hurdles but was an out-and-out stayer on the Flat so will possibly need further than this. Garbanzo made his hurdling debut in a Grade 2 at Ascot last year so it was a little disappointing that he could only finish fourth when favourite at Wetherby subsequently. However, he remains unexposed and did win on the all-weather in August. SHISHKIN could be another for the Henderson/de Boinville combination as the winning pointer scored in a hack canter on his debut under Rules at Kempton in March and is a nice prospect. Al Kout has won on Polytrack and Tapeta but was 0-9 on Turf on the Flat.
