Verdict

Aramaic easily beat Pivoine at York but the latter is 7lb better off and should close the gap, though he was even further behind KING OF CLUBS earlier at Sandown. The form of that race has been franked and Hughie Morrison’s three-year-old will handle any give in the ground today. Sam Cooke won over a longer trip at York but that should have boosted his confidence while connections will be hoping a first-time visor helps Dawaam settle better. Mo'assess and Injazati are unexposed types and King Leonidas goes well fresh so warrants a market check but Strait Of Hormuz has become hard to place.
