        Verdict

        Blakfrankisch ran really well on his British debut here for Tom Dascombe earlier this month when finding just Constant Cheers too good but a 6lb rise for that seems harsh and preference is for Aegean Prince, who gets the vote over Bienheureux. The last mentioned represents Gay Kelleway, who has her string in good form at present, but he may be a shade high in the weights so looks best watched. Hatch A Plan has given little real sign of encouragement of late and of more interest in a modest race by the track's standards may be Mark Brisbourne's Barbirolli, who is better than he showed at Chester last time and has slipped to a fair mark. The vote though goes to Richard Hannon's Aegean Prince who was good value for his win at Windsor last week and he is taken to defy the penalty for that success.
