Verdict

Royal Challis has the best form in the book with a third at Salisbury and stablemate Tawtheeq has some catching up to do to match him. Jospeh O'Brien took an outside ride to win this last year so Prince Of Arabia is worth a second glance in the betting but Ralph Beckett has trained three of the last five winners of this contest and QUINTET may also be good enough. She's just preferred to the 160,000gns gelding Shamal, who is related to a host of winners, while Plover and Gregori are other newcomers to note.
