An open looking contest where preference is for Penelewey, who won over six furlongs as Salisbury last time out, but has been dropped 1lb since. Bred to perform at this trip, the filly has only competed once over it, when second to Bi Polar at Kempton on her seasonal reappearance. With fitness proven and also her ability to handle slightly slower ground if the rains take effect, then she can follow up her Salisbury success back over seven furlongs here. The one she is likely to have to beat is Candelabra, who receives 1lb from the selection and is in good heart following a win at Warwick over seven furlongs last month. Fast ground would clearly suit the Grand Lodge filly, and she should be thereabouts once again. Zeitory has to shoulder top weight and any rain would not hinder her chances. She is stepped up significantly in trip here for her reappearance, but is bred to get every yard and it would be no surprise to see her in the frame. Oh So Rosie makes her seasonal reappearance too, after a juvenile campaign that included wins at five, six and seven furlongs. Trip and ground will suit and a 5lb drop should enable her to be involved at the business, though she might just find a couple too good. Coppington Flyer and Night Kiss both look exposed following recent successes and will do well to win off their current marks.
