Plenty to be gleaned from watching this one, but if we must have a bet then the market should be a pretty good guide to the chances of the runners from the leading yards. Grand Reward is sent over by Aidan O'Brien and he is likely to go well for Mick Kinane, though he is bred to get a bit further than this and whether he will have enough speed on debut is anyone's guess. Privy Seal looks the pick of the Gosden pairing on jockey bookings (Frankie Dettori is up), but he too is likely to get much further than this and unless the market says otherwise he is probably best watched here. Preference therefore is for one of the few with racecourse experience, Kafuwain. Again, he should also get a fair bit further, but he also has sprint speed in the bloodlines and though his first effort was no more than encouraging, he can benefit from that experience, plus the horsemanship of Kieren Fallon and break his maiden tag. Unprecedented showed little on debut, but comes from a stable noted for their two-year-olds and if he gets the hang of things this time he should finish closer.
