Sir Michael Stoute trained last year's winner and Dissolution finished ahead of Mohatem when scoring at Newmarket under Ryan Moore on his return. Moore cannot make the weight today but still has claims on Time Test who may well figure stepping up in distance. Gibeon was well beaten on his previous start over 1m2f and stablemate King of Normandy's recent win came over a mile but AZRAFF stays the trip. He found only the progressive Marma's Boy too good at Newmarket last time and should go close again. Space Age and Plymouth Sound are other likely improvers and preferred to the upped-in-class Dutch Uncle.
