Verdict

The newcomers are the most interesting horses in the line-up here and Party Frock may prove to be the best of them. Support for either Turfwolke or Lyceana would be worth noting and Straight Sets is entitled to improve. John Gosden appears to have found an ideal opening for his well bred daughter of Oasis Dream. There's always a danger that she won't live up to her illustrious pedigree but this appears to be a soft race. Lyceana is out of a winning dam and represents respected connections and Turfwolke hails from a yard that has been going fairly well and her dam comes from a decent family. Straight Sets ran a fair race on debut at Thirsk and improvement should put this half-sister to Championship Point firmly in the mix but it's hard to get excited about the achievements of the remainder. This can go the way of Party Frock.
