Another tough looking handicap for backers to solve with several of the 20 runners holding claims including Red Sahara, Ela Paparouna and Generous Gesture but the vote goes to Beejay. The selection overcame an absence from the track to beat a similarly big field at Nottingham last month and, with the step up to seven furlongs likely to suit, she looks worth a bet off just a 4lb higher mark from a potentially advantageous draw near the stands' side rail. The William Haggas-trained Red Sahara is lightly raced and has the assistance of Kieren Fallon, while Ela Paparouna is potentially well treated on her debut in this grade although she is not certain to stay the trip. Generous Gesture is only 1lb higher than when scoring at Southwell last time but is held by the selection on running at Nottingham previously and a bigger threat may come from Richard Hannon's unexposed Blue Daze. Marcus Tregoning's True is another lightly raced filly who cannot be dismissed lightly on the other side of the course to the selection, who is Beejay.
