      Verdict

John Gosden's Iceman found just one too good on his debut at Bath 11 days ago and should have come on for the outing, but there are some well bred individuals in opposition here including Witchry, League of Nations and Bla Shak, with the last mentioned of that trio getting a tentative vote. Marcus Tregoning has already had his first two-year-old winner of the season and this colt who is by Alhaarth out of a half-sister to Misterah, makes plenty of appeal on pedigree. Michael Jarvis had a great season with his juveniles last term so his Witchry, the sixth foal of the brilliant Indian Skimmer has to be respected. However, he may do better over further in due course and of more interest could be Paul Cole's League Of Nations. The son of Indian Danehill is well related and hails from a stable that can ready a two-year-old first time out. Brian Meehan introduces a son of Daylami in Perfect Choice, while Marcus Tregoning saddles both Bakke and Mushajer, who may make up into nice colts, but we are happy to side with their stablemate Bla Shak in a potentially informative contest.
