Instant Recall can regain the winning thread this afternoon although Kabreet, I Won't Dance and Primo Way are all respected. The Chester track is a difficult one for many horses and in our opinion its tight configuration did not suit Instant Recall. He still looks well treated on the pick of his form and off this mark, Brian Meehan looks to have found a winning opportunity. Kabreet took an egg-and-spoon race at Lingfield over the winter. Now is his acid test. Front running I Won't Dance has claims on Newmarket form and is dropped back to what is probably his ideal trip. Primo Way looks to have been given full measure for his efforts by the handicapper and only beat a 63-rated horse home by a length in a Southwell maiden. On that evidence, a BHB mark of 80 looks harsh. Missus Links recent Nottingham fifth does not take account of the fact that she raced at the "wrong side" of the draw on that evening. In another competitive race, Instant Recall is our pick.
