Although many of these will progress in time, it what could prove to be an informative event we like the look of Massif Centrale, Golden Key, Rawdon, Kaska and Fu Fighter, with the vote, unless the betting market says something radically different, going to Massif Centrale. The selection is a half-brother to last year's Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Indian Haven, and he showed promise, despite running green, on his Salisbury debut behind Day Flight 12 days ago. The winner franked the form by winning in good style at York yesterday. In opposition, there are plenty of big stables represented in this contest including Golden Key, a son of Rainbow Quest and the selected ride of Kieren Fallon from four Sir Michael Stoute entries. Stoute also runs Golan's half-brother, Gift Voucher, the likeably-bred Double Aspect, and the $120,000-purchase Dune Raider. Haadef represents John Gosden, and this son of Sadler's Wells looks sure to appreciate a trip in time, while Rawdon runs from the stable. He was expected to do better on his Newmarket debut and could improve for that run, especially with blinkers fitted, while Kevin Darley is an interesting booking for the Marcus Tregoning colt Remaadd. Kaska finished ahead of Rawdon at Newmarket and is also entitled to go well, so watch the betting for clues as to how this local runner will go, and Fu Fighter has shown promise and should appreciate the step up to 10 furlongs. Finally, the best of the Henry Cecil pair could prove to be Sinistra, a quite well-related daughter of Dracula. Overall, though, we will side with Massif Centrale.
