Flashy Wings runs here instead of in the opener at York, and the move can pay off, with Smooch seen as her main market rival. Mick Channon's filly was well touted before her successful debut at the Craven meeting where despite running green, she was simply too good for the opposition. The next stop is the Queen Mary and it will be a shock if she fails here en-route. Smooch has the benefit of experience and she looked a determined sort when making most at Salisbury, but she will do well to give three-pounds and a beating to the selection. Brazilian Style will improve on her Redcar debut but is up against it, while it is interesting that Mick Channon also runs Hanoona here. She is a half-sister to a mile-and-a-quarter winner though and is best watched on her debut. Quite simply, Flashy Wings sets the standard and is hard to oppose.
