Verdict

Miss Lahar had stablemate Betty Fonatine a length behind when third in a Listed race at Ascot and has since bolted up in a maiden. She should be thereabouts along with On The Dark Side, whose fifth in the Molecomb at Goodwood last time was her best effort to date. My Propeller showed bags of early pace before fading badly over 6f at Newmarket in the Cherry Hinton. It's too soon to write her off racing over the minimum trip for the first time, while we may not have seen the best of Quite A Thing yet. The winning debutants Artistic Jewel, Free Verse and Kyanight may well be up to scoring at this level but KOHALA is preferred. She finished a respectable fifth in the Queen Mary at Ascot before just failing to catch the gelding Forevertheoptimist in a Listed event at Sandown and David Barron's charge can go one better taking on other fillies again here.
