Emirates Skyline created a favourable impression when making a winning debut at Doncaster last month and Godolphin's son of Sunday Silence makes more appeal than main rivals Romantic Evening and Humungous. The last mentioned stepped up on debut form when landing a Salisbury maiden last time but this looks tougher. Brian Meehan's Johnny The Fish gained a deserved first success when taking a Warwick maiden last month and has earned his place in this field but probably needs to improve again. The Barry Hills-trained Galileo's Star is clearly going the right way at present and should be watched in the market along with John Dunlop's Nottingham winner Jaish. John Gosden's Innocent Air remains a maiden, while neither of Richard Hannon's pair The Snatcher nor Ned Ludd makes much appeal and of more interest may be Romantic Evening. Ed McMahon has his string of two-year-olds in good form now and the York winner is bred to appreciate this step up in trip. However, Emirates Skyline did everything asked of him at Doncaster and, granted natural improvement for the run, should take plenty of beating.
