Verdict

Prominent Profile can make all to beat Mount Prague and Kety Star and land this for the second year running. Nigel Twiston-Davies has had his team jumping out of their skins all season so it was no surprise when Prominent Profile brushed aside the opposition at Aintree last month. That will have put him straight for his attempt to defy a rise in the weights, and in his current mood, he should be up to the task. Mount Prague will appreciate a true test, and showed at Huntingdon last time that his turn is near. Kety Star is on the upgrade judged on his convincing Doncaster success but he does have topweight to carry. Idealko has a big weight pull with Prominent Profile after his second to the selection at Aintree, but Carl Llewellyn was able to ease right down on the run-in, so, although he might not be able to do the same here, he should still be good enough to justify the decision to run here again rather than take in a slightly harder race at Cheltenham on Saturday.
