Little for us to go on again in this six furlong maiden, but LEVERAGE is as confident a choice as we could hope for given the lack of public form, while Femme De Fer is probably next best. Ryan Moore partners the Luca Cumani-trained Leverage, as he did when the duo finished runner-up in a decent Doncaster maiden last month. Trip and ground suit, and the Xaar colt looks likely to improve enough to go one better tonight. Femme De Fer has gone well in a couple of 6f maidens, but has struggled to find extra close to home. That is not to write off Clive Cox's filly, but on balance she is likely to find at least one too good again. Debutant Major Lawrence is related to winners from sprint trips up to a mile and cost 310,000 euros as a foal. Connections will be hoping for some signs that the big outlay was worth it, and a market check is advised for stable confidence. Milldown Story made a pleasing debut at Salisbury in May and represents an in-form yard, so she can build on that and could finish in the money, but we are happy to side with Leverage.
