      Verdict

      Ching Shih finished third in the Musidora at York, ahead of Luna Dorada, though was still more than seven lengths behind subsequent Oaks runner-up Emily Upjohn. The latter is trained by the Gosdens, who run recent winners Elegant Verse and Yummylicious in this. Frankie rides the first-named so it’s safe to assume she is the stable pick bidding to give her yard their fifth winner of this in the last 11 years. Stay Alert has claims on her second behind Oaks third Nashwa here last month but GOLDEN LYRA beat the latter more than five lengths on her debut at Newmarket in October and could be anything.
