In depth

Verdict

This is probably a bit more competitive than the first division. James Harding looks a good jockey booking for Broad Appeal, who will strip fitter for a second at Lingfield. My Brother Mike is versatile as to trip but MAFIA POWER is thrown in on his best form under a 7lb claimer. He does have a poor strike-rate and questions to answer after two moderate runs this year but blinkers could spark a revival. Engrave is best on the all-weather and Papas Boy remains winless while soft going would be a major concern for Classy Dame, who was knocking on the door on the all-weather at the start of the year. Charlotte Crane has ridden Licit into a place three times but her mount is only 1-24.
