Izmir won a maiden over this trip at Wolverhampton in the autumn and may not have stayed a mile on her reappearance at Haydock. Ryan Moore takes over the reins here and she is one for the short-list. Generalship ran well for a long way on his reappearance at Newmarket and makes his handicap bow off a fair mark but stamina could be an issue for Lucky Louie and Red Tea steps up a grade. Shadow Game may be in the handicapper's grip and Blackout has been disappointing this season so we'll take a chance on the returning KITAABY. Just beaten over 6f here on fast ground on his debut last July, he held his own in strong maiden company thereafter and this extra furlong should be within his range this year.
