Verdict

Top weight Baltic Brave is hard to catch right but could figure if in the mood and is preferred to stablemate Dutch Law. Exceeding Power took advantage of a drop in the ratings to score at Newmarket and is only 4lb higher while there are possibilities about maidens Weld Al Emarat, who is eased in grade for a new yard, and the even less exposed Bunbury. Iconic could also give a good account after a pipe-opener but Jack Of Diamonds is an all-weather specialist. ATAMAN was too keen on his first start for Chris Wall at Nottingham but the stable is in much better form now and a big run is anticipated as he went close on several occasions last year when trained by Roger Charlton. Squire is consistent and has each-way claims again.
