We will stick with Reunite in this Listed race, with her biggest dangers given as Intrigued and Local Spirit. The 2004 Prix Marcel Boussac fourth, Intrigued, returned from a long break to finish third in a Haydock Listed race on heavy going last time. This better going will suit and she looks to have retained enough ability to run a big race today. Ruby Wine was beaten four lengths into fourth behind Punctilious in this race last year and holds place prospects if back to that sort of form, although she looks held by Reunite on this season's form, while last year's Ribblesdale fourth, Reunite, who scored well in Listed company last time, comes firmly onto the list of probables for this race. Second at this level in each of her last two starts, the lightly-raced Bunood gets a solid mention, while the Aidan O'Brien-trained Fermion has proven herself competitive at this level and should also be given some thought. Giving looked to be on the way up when second to Stage Gift at Kempton last time, although on ratings she needs to find quite a bit, but Local Spirit is three pounds better off for the two-and-a-half lengths that Reunite beat her at Yarmouth and is granted all due respect. Overall, though, the vote stays with Reunite.
