In depth

Verdict

None of the previous winners look unbeatable but Mcfabulous and The Macon Lugnatic are both partnered by 5lb claimers and Richard Johnson keeps faith with Warwick scorer Keep Rolling. CHANTRY HOUSE beat a well-regarded sort in a maiden point in December and comes with a £295,000 price tag attached so it will be disappointing if he can’t make an impression on his debut under Rules. Faustinovick, Tide Times and Silver Hallmark have also shown ability between the flags while the four-year-old Le Cameleon is out of as mare that has produced winners with her four offspring to so far race.
