In depth

Verdict

ANTUNES had shown promise prior to winning at Uttoxeter in December and wasn’t disgraced in better company next time at Leicester when 14lb higher. Back in the right grade, Dan Skelton’s five-year-old could be good enough to pick up the winning thread again. Precious Bounty was odds-on last time at Huntingdon but only managed fifth behind Shanty Alley, who is only 2lb worse off, and the stable has stronger claims with the less-exposed Dostal Phil. Laughing Luis’s victory at Leicester hasn’t worked out but Tegerek can probably be forgiven a poor run on soft going at Uttoxeter.
